Senior Vice President Enterprise Marketing and Customer Care

Lynda James-Gilboe is Senior Vice President of Enterprise Marketing and Customer Care, responsible for managing global branding, marketing services, and creative services functions as well as customer support groups. In this role, Ms. James-Gilboe oversees all external communications initiatives.

Ms. James-Gilboe joined ProQuest in 2001 as Vice President of Special Projects-Marketing and Sales. She became Vice President of Inside Sales and Customer Support in 2003 and Vice President of Marketing in 2004. Prior to joining ProQuest, she was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at NewsBank/Readex.

Previously, Ms. James-Gilboe held a variety of leadership positions with The Gale Group, formerly a Thomson company (now Gale Cengage). As Senior Vice President of North American Print Sales and Marketing and was a member of the Executive Committee, she led the sales and marketing integration of Macmillan Library Reference into Gale Group She also held a number of senior positions in Marketing, Sales, and Creative services.

Ms. James-Gilboe is a marketing committee member and past board member of Washtenaw Literacy and serves on the advisory committee for the American Library Association Spectrum Presidential Initiative. She received a B.A. from Michigan State University and is a 1984 Graduate of the Publishing Institute at the University of Denver, Colorado.
